The programme included performances of a Queen medley, Seven Nation Army, Pink Pony Club & the eventual winners (Peter, Henry, Aron and Hugh) gave their rendition of Mardy-Bum.

Our team debated against Reading Blue Coat on the motion “This House Would impose a tourism tax in major cities facing overtourism.”
The students were an absolute credit to the school. They spoke with confidence, structure and maturity well beyond their years. Although neither team from our heat progressed to the next round, our students delivered an exceptionally strong performance and may well have won their debate on substance.

In just under two weeks’ time the annual On Your Bike cycling event (not a race) will be held in Sonning Common.  This year it is being held on Sunday 8 June, starting at Sonning Common Primary School from 10:30.  

The aim of On Your Bike is to get families and friends riding their bikes together in a choice of rides from 6, 12 or 20 miles through the leafy roads around us - we are very lucky to live where we do! There is also a supervised playground ride for younger riders.

Following 3 fitness tests, he was selected from 1000s of entries to go to London for regional trials. Byron was selected for British Cycling team trials from 750 athletes aged 16-24.
