We were excited to welcome back the students for the final leg of the autumn term yesterday!  There is a distinct chill in the air as the leaves continue to drop here at MECE.  We are pleased to report that the scarecrow, Charlie 'Cobweb' Chiltern, built for the village trail over half-term, is still largely intact at the front of the driveway.  Our year 11s started their PPEs yesterday and we wish them the best of luck - we are also very appreciative to everyone for keeping the noise levels in the surrounding area down.  Next Friday is our annual Astronomy evening - invites will go to year 7 and 8 as usual, as well as a group of year students who are completing a module on astronomy as part of their Science GCSE.
