In-Year Admissions

Joining Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge

We are very pleased that your child may be joining us at Maiden Erlegh Chiltern Edge. We want to ensure that your son or daughter settles quickly so that you can make the most of their time here. It is important that we work closely together to ensure that we understand your child’s strengths and ambitions, and that we can support them to achieve the best they can.

We have a clear process for transition and induction:

We urge you to read the information on the website, so that you understand what we offer and how we work. Whilst it is important that your child leaves us with good qualifications, we also know that education is much more than that. We urge you to encourage your child to participate as widely as possible in school life so that they make new friends, try new things and develop confidence and assurance which will stand them in good stead as they move through the school and beyond.

We have high expectations of attendance, work ethic and behaviour, because we know that this is how we can ensure that students achieve well, academically and personally. We also have structures in place to provide additional support when needed.
